ST. LOUIS, March 13, 2015 – BrickHouse Security of New York has acquired the GPS tracking business of Cary, North Carolina based Securus, Inc.
The Edmonds Group, LLC acted as exclusive advisor to Securus, Inc. for the transaction. The Edmonds Group also advised Securus on the sale last month of its PERS division to Freeus, LLC, a sister company of Ogden Utah based AvantGuard Monitoring Centers.

With this acquisition, BrickHouse Security gains two existing GPS tracking businesses, Securus and Zoombak, a subsidiary previously acquired by Securus. “What this does is it takes the three largest direct-to-consumer GPS brands and rolls them up into one company, on one platform, with one set of infrastructure,” said Todd Morris, CEO of BrickHouse Security.
